Job summary

Gray & Son Inc. in Norris City, IL is seeking an experienced truck driver with a valid CDL to operate company vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and diligently log hours per DOT regulations.

The role includes loading/unloading, maintaining cargo records, and supporting supervisors during morning huddles. Applicants should have HazMat/Tanker endorsements where required, a clean driving record, and willingness to perform additional duties as needed.

• Valid DOT Card or HazMat endorsement may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains radio or telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Keeps record of materials and products transported.
• Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle.
• Operates equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Assists in loading and unloading truck manually.
• Willingly attend and support Foremen/Superintendents during morning huddles and toolbox talks.
• Other duties as assigned.
