Role Description

The Dump Truck Driver is a full-time, on-site position based in Norcross, GA. This role is responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, debris, and construction supplies to and from job sites. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading materials, following designated routes, and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. The Dump Truck Driver will work closely with site supervisors and crew members to support project schedules, maintain accurate delivery records, and ensure equipment is kept in clean and safe working condition. The role may require working in varying weather conditions and occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record, with demonstrated truck driving experience
• Ability to safely operate dump trucks and related truck equipment, including basic unloading procedures
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements for commercial vehicles
• Familiarity with construction sites and material handling in utility or municipal projects is preferred
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Strong attention to safety, situational awareness, and adherence to company policies
