Job summary

The team builds 3A/5A apartment buildings, wood-framed hotels, and townhome developments across the region. Level Ground frames approximately 1.5-2 million square feet per year, reflecting a steady pipeline of large-scale projects. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Dump Truck Driver role based in the Charlotte Metro area. The Dump Truck Driver will transport construction materials, debris, and equipment to and from job sites, following designated routes and schedules. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, operating dump mechanisms safely, and loading and unloading materials in coordination with site supervisors. The role also involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations, completing required logs and documentation, and communicating effectively with dispatch and project teams. The driver will support construction operations by ensuring timely deliveries and pickups to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record and experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and basic truck maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Ability to navigate job sites, follow delivery instructions, and operate in a busy construction environment with attention to safety.
• Physical ability to climb in and out of trucks, secure loads, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable work habits, punctuality, and strong communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and dispatch.
• Experience in asphalt or aggregate material hauling in the Charlotte Metro area is preferred.
• Willingness to follow company safety policies, attend safety meetings, and participate in ongoing training.
