The Department of Radiology at Duke Health is seeking an applicant for a faculty position at the Medical Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop an academic career in an exemplary Neuroradiology Division within an excellent Department and Institution.
The Neuroradiology Division, with 20 faculty and eight fellows, operates a high volume, high profile, and growing clinical practice with primary responsibilities for all neuro imaging including CT, MR, and intervention. Facilities are excellent including state-of-the-art CT, MR (1.5 T and 3.0 T), DECT, and CT-fluoroscopy. The Division hosts a strong Spine Interventional Service, which serves a growing patient population with referrals nationwide.
The Division is integral to Neurosurgery, Neurology, Pediatrics, Otolaryngology, Radiation Oncology, and Psychiatry with associated multi-disciplinary conferences and collaboration.
The Department is an ideal place to develop an academic career, with substantial research infrastructure, which includes biostatistical and research administration support, a clinical research MR scanner, small animal imaging technology, and a close collaboration with Departmental PhD scientists and researchers across Duke.
Ideal candidates will be ABR eligible or ABR certified. Rank and academic track at Duke will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
