Job summary

Florida Safety Council in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a full-time DUI Evaluator to perform psychosocial evaluations for students in the DUI Counterattack Programs, score psychometric tests, and conduct interviews using standard forms.

The role requires ongoing DHSMV certification maintenance, attendance at supervision sessions, and meticulous case documentation to support program outcomes and community safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, nursing, or doctorate in medicine (M.D.).
• 4,000 hours of experience in mental health/rehabilitative direct client services, or medical care specific to substance abuse.
• CAP, CCJAP, or 14,000 hours of experience in human services may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial evaluations of students in DUI Counterattack Programs to determine the existence of an alcohol and/or substance abuse problem.
• Score and evaluate psychometric instruments and consult the Evaluator's Guide for Critical Factors.
• Conduct psychosocial interviews using required forms and provide evaluation explanations with recommendations.
• Assist in selecting appropriate treatment facilities when required.
• Attend weekly or monthly face-to-face Clinical Supervision sessions with a DHSMV certified Clinical Supervisor.
• Prepare detailed case documentation and ensure all forms are current and legible.

Education
