DUF6-MCS LLC is seeking an Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H) professional to support IH/IS functions across DUF6 operations. The role involves field monitoring, hazard analysis, and contributing to ISMS-based work packages, under minimal supervision.

You will conduct safety walk-downs, collect samples, operate monitoring equipment, and ensure compliance with safety procedures while collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and work control teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years related industrial hygiene and/or industrial safety experience, including 1 year in DOE radiological activities (preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a HSPD-12 credential.

Responsabilités

• Provide IH/IS support for workplace monitoring and coverage across operations.
• Perform safety walk-downs, inspections, and pre-job reviews for hazard identification.
• Conduct field monitoring and support worker safety programs using approved procedures.
• Collect water and air samples, maintain chain-of-custody and may conduct analysis.
• Operate and maintain IH/IS monitoring equipment.
• Stop work when unsafe conditions threaten personnel safety or environmental risk.
• Assist in developing ES&H procedures and ISMS-aligned work packages.
• Collaborate with Work Control, Engineering, and Maintenance to integrate safety input.
