Job summary

DUF6-MCS LLC in Piketon, OH seeks a seasoned engineer to support the DUF6 project. Under limited supervision, you will perform a variety of engineering and technical tasks to keep operations safe and reliable.

Responsibilities include defining surveillances with Nuclear Safety Manager, maintaining trainings, identifying CDCs, reviewing work, and guiding design changes. The role serves as SME for system operation and interfaces with operations and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science Degree in engineering discipline or related science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 1+ years of nuclear experience.

Responsibilities

• Defines required surveillances, including performance frequency and required start date, in conjunction with the Nuclear Safety Manager.
• Maintains training and qualifications on assigned systems.
• Identifies, manages, and controls the safety bases and configuration of assigned systems, structures, and components (SSCs).
• Reviews and approves work on assigned systems.
• Establishes a list of potential suppliers of parts, and a spare parts minimum/maximum inventory for SSCs in assigned systems.
