Job summary

Cardinal Staffing is interviewing for a Project Manager position at a facility in Owosso, MI. Candidates should be willing to work overtime and weekends as the company grows, with pay ranging from $25 to $35 per hour depending on experience.

The role involves managing multiple ductwork projects from design through production, creating detailed CAD drawings, coordinating with engineering, purchasing, and fabrication teams, and ensuring contract and customer spec compliance.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in industrial fabrication, HVAC, ductwork, or related manufacturing.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting; Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Inventor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple coated stainless steel ductwork projects simultaneously from design through production.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, piece drawings, assemblies and Bills of Materials (BOM) using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Coordinate project activities with engineering, purchasing, production, quality, shipping and sales.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, vendors, and external engineers to clarify requirements and respond to technical inquiries.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure compliance.
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback and internal review processes.
• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation.
• Prepare BOMs and technical documentation to support purchasing and fabrication.
• Distribute final drawing packages to internal teams and clients.
• Provide support to fabrication personnel by answering questions and clarifying design details during production.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
