Job summary

Carolina Spiral & Duct Fabrication, LLC is hiring a Shop Fabricator – Carolina Spiral to support the shop team in duct fabrication and assembly. The role involves reading drawings, cutting, and assembling ductwork per orders, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be able to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, and possess basic reading/writing and tool-handling skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule—days and some weekends.
• Present yourself in a professional manner.
• Must be able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general shop activities under supervision to complete tasks.
• Support mechanics, foremen, and supervisors to finish projects on time.
• Provide quality and productive work without constant reminders.
• Review drawings to determine cut lists before fabricating duct.
• Cut and assemble ductwork using layout and fabrication equipment.
• Operate data entry to burn jobs on cutting machines.
• Use the Vicon machine to fabricate duct.
