JD:

Key Responsibilities:
Cognizant requires a Sr. DC Senior Business Analyst who demonstrates strong leadership abilities, is knowledgeable in the P&C software industry, and can work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role will be work from home; however, travel is required and varies based on the assigned account requirements. This employee will work with large implementation teams and will be expected to work in a team setting, providing guidance to less senior team members, communicating status to the client and project manager, and helping to keep the project moving from a requirements aspect. The employee will independently ensure that the quality of a developed product has met the acceptance criteria for client delivery by providing in-depth knowledge of approved business and testing requirements, insurance, and technical aspects of Duck Creek products.

Required Experience & Responsibilities:

1. DC Policy Business Analyst 7+ years
2. Ability to lead daily stand-up meetings for BA/Tech/QA team members if team size requires
3. Coordinates assignment of activities to other business analysts to help
4. Ability to provide expert guidance in the understanding of the insurance product and business needs of the customer
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to generate and deliver informative and well-organized presentations
7. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group to include executives, managers, and subject matter experts
8. Ability to understand the business issues and data challenges of the customer and collaborate with the team to build and present solutions
9. Lead meetings with stakeholders to determine priorities and critical path items necessary to achieve defined objectives according to plan
10. Ability to collaborate with a cross-geo business and technical team when nonstandard requirements/customization requests are identified to provide alternative business solutions and workarounds to meet the client's needs
11. Ability to assist with program management activities such as identification of project risks and collaborate with the team to implement mitigation plans that follow through to risk closure
12. Experience in managing and prioritizing a product backlog from inception through implementation go live to include full program dependency planning to ensure cohesive delivery across the program lifecycle (Items such as integrations, client led deliverables, etc.)
13. Ability to provide clear, concise, and transparent status to the internal project management team
14. Understand project lifecycle activities for requirements, implementation, and maintenance, gather/document requirements or issues
15. Provides mentoring/coaching to less senior business analysts
16. Collaborates with team members (business, technical, quality) to ensure clarity and understanding of the business requirements, success criteria, and outcomes desired by the client

Should be a team player, ability to mentor junior BAs on the team, excellent client-facing skills, deep and wide knowledge of Duck Creek platform, ability to work with offshore teams.
