Job summary

Next Level Solutions is seeking a Duck Creek Developer II to join our dynamic development team in Springfield, IL. You will design and build custom Duck Creek solutions, blending ManuScript configuration with standard development practices to deliver robust products and services.

You will collaborate with Analysts, Architects, and Project Managers and contribute to agile processes while expanding your expertise with Duck Creek Skins, API, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the Duck Creek Platform and Agile environment.
• Experience with ManuScript configuration and Duck Creek APIs.
• 2+ years of experience with Duck Creek product lines.
• Proficient in C# for custom business objects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications and services with unit testing, CI, and configuration management.
• Coordinate configuration and testing with appropriate departments for client release schedules.
• Work with clients and team members to understand and interpret business requirements.
• Develop custom Duck Creek solutions via ManuScript configuration.
• Collaborate to translate business needs into ManuScript Inheritance structures and technical components.

As a Duck Creek Developer II, you'll be the mastermind behind custom applications that power our innovative products and services. Your daily toolkit will include Duck Creek's proprietary tools, seamlessly blended with industry-standard code management systems.

Together, you'll decipher business requirements, craft custom Duck Creek solutions via ManuScript configuration, and plan future capabilities that align with client strategies.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop web applications and services using software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and configuration management
• Coordinate configuration and testing with appropriate departments for client application release schedules
• Work with clients and team members to understand and interpret business requirements
• Develop custom Duck Creek solutions via ManuScript configuration
• Collaborate to understand business needs and translate them into ManuScript Inheritance structures, including design of technical components

What You'll Bring

• Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Thorough understanding of the Duck Creek Platform, including all components (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT)
• Experience using Duck Creek Skins
• Experience using C# based custom business objects
• Experience using Duck Creek API
• Experience using Duck Creek Anywhere
• Full knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile environment
• Solid understanding of logical programming, data structures, and design platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, team player, and self-starter
• Can work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Ability to take ownership of customer issues and see through to resolution
• 2+ years of experience with Duck Creek product lines
