Job summary

Next Level Solutions seeks a Duck Creek Developer II to design and implement custom Duck Creek solutions, blending ManuScript configuration with standard development practices. You will work closely with Analysts, Architects, Business SMEs, and Project Managers to translate client requirements into scalable components.

You'll leverage the Duck Creek Platform and related tools, with opportunities to grow in Duck Creek Skins and C#-based objects, while practicing Agile disciplines, code reviews,

Qualifications

2+ years of experience with Duck Creek product lines.
Understanding of the Duck Creek Platform and components (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT).
Experience using Duck Creek Skins and Duck Creek API.
Experience with C#-based custom business objects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop web applications and services using best practices, including unit testing, CI, and configuration management.
Coordinate configuration and testing with departments for client release schedules.
Work with clients and team members to understand and interpret business requirements.
Develop custom Duck Creek solutions via ManuScript configuration.
Translate business needs into ManuScript Inheritance structures and components.

What You'll Do

Design and develop web applications and services using software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and configuration management
Coordinate configuration and testing with appropriate departments for client application release schedules
Work with clients and team members to understand and interpret business requirements
Develop custom Duck Creek solutions via ManuScript configuration
Collaborate to understand business needs and translate them into ManuScript Inheritance structures, including design of technical components

Thorough understanding of the Duck Creek Platform, including all components (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT)
Experience using Duck Creek Skins
Experience using C# based custom business objects

Experience using Duck Creek Anywhere
Full knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile environment
Solid understanding of logical programming, data structures, and design platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated, team player, and self-starter
Can work independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Ability to take ownership of customer issues and see through to resolution
2+ years of experience with Duck Creek product lines
