Next Level Solutions in Illinois is seeking a Duck Creek Developer II to design and deliver custom Duck Creek solutions. You will work with Analysts, Architects, and PMs to translate business needs into ManuScript configurations and Skins, leveraging C# and Agile practices.

Join a collaborative team, own components from design to deployment, perform unit testing, and participate in CI/CD. The role emphasizes growth, customer satisfaction, and a deep understanding of the Duck Creek Platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Duck Creek product lines.
• Strong understanding of ManuScript configuration and Duck Creek tooling.
• Experience with C#-based custom objects and Duck Creek APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications and services using best practices with unit testing, CI, and configuration management.
• Coordinate configuration and testing with appropriate departments for client release schedules.
• Work with clients and team members to understand and interpret business requirements.
• Develop custom Duck Creek solutions via ManuScript configuration.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop web applications and services using software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and configuration management
• Coordinate configuration and testing with appropriate departments for client application release schedules
• Work with clients and team members to understand and interpret business requirements
• Develop custom Duck Creek solutions via ManuScript configuration
• Collaborate to understand business needs and translate them into ManuScript Inheritance structures, including design of technical components

What You’ll Bring

• Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Thorough understanding of the Duck Creek Platform, including all components (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT)
• Experience using Duck Creek Skins
• Experience using C# based custom business objects
• Experience using Duck Creek API
• Experience using Duck Creek Anywhere
• Full knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile environment
• Solid understanding of logical programming, data structures, and design platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, team player, and self-starter
• Can work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Ability to take ownership of customer issues and see through to resolution
• 2+ years of experience with Duck Creek product lines
