Job summary

Duchess in Columbus, OH seeks a Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance, while exemplifying our service standards and community focus.

You will hire, train, and develop a high-performing team, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, build vendor relations, monitor KPIs, and drive growth through hands-on leadership and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of management experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and customer service skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Experience with POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic software (Word, Excel, Email).
• ServeSafe certification is required or willingness to obtain.

What You’ll Do

Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance

Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team that reflects our values and commitment to service

Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to drive growth

Other Qualifications include, but are not limited to walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching. Ability to work in demanding circumstances including variable temperatures, indoors and outdoors.

Education – High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

Experience – 2+ years of management experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles

Leadership – A natural coach who motivates teams, builds trust, and leads by example

Operational know-how – Skilled in inventory, scheduling, cash handling, and vendor relations

Problem-solving mindset – Quick on your feet, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented

Tech comfort – Familiar with POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic software (Word, Excel, Email)

ServeSafe certification – Required or willingness to obtain
