Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Dublin, Ohio seeks a Multi-Modality Sonographer to perform diagnostic exams across modalities, support ED and walk‑in patients, and maintain high image quality. Training will be provided for GXMO competencies, and ARDMS/CCI credentials or board eligibility are required.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma (Associates or Bachelors preferred), 2+ years imaging experience, an Ohio General X-ray Operator License with specified modules, CPR certification, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• AR DMS RDCS or CCI-eligible with certification within 12 months.
• Ohio General X-ray Machine Operator License in Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine, and Podiatric modules or to achieve within 3 months.
• 2+ years in imaging preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Able to perform professional duties with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of exams in multiple modalities with focus on image quality.
• Provide diagnostic radiography support for approved images.
• Maintain patient safety and promote evidence-based practice.
• Perform diagnostic sonography exams per established protocols with optimal quality.
• Assist with ED and walk-in patient throughput as applicable.
