CM-KELLY LLC is seeking an HVAC General Manager to lead two established operating companies and drive strategic growth and operational excellence in residential HVAC. The role requires a visionary leader with a proven ability to expand market presence, increase revenue, and improve profitability.

You will oversee day-to-day production, supervise field operations, mentor the operations team, and collaborate with Ownership on long- and short-term plans.

Qualifications

• Ten years of management experience in residential HVAC.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC methods, codes and standards.
• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams and lead change.
• Willingness to grow operationally and professionally.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day company production, interfacing with executive leadership, finance, and operations.
• Manage field operations, safety, project management, on-site progress and employee retention.
• Ensure profitability, budget adherence, and timely reporting to Ownership.
• Coach recruiting, interviewing, and development of the operations team as needed.

HVAC INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

As the HVAC General Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and operational excellence of of two established, smaller-sized operating companies. This role demands a visionary leader with a proven track record in expanding market presence, increasing revenue, and enhancing profitability.

We are looking for a candidate that will develop and implement business strategies that foster innovation, optimize processes, and improve customer satisfaction. By leveraging your expertise in team leadership and market analysis, you will identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term success for the company. The General Manager will provide leadership, and vision to our team of high-performing Technicians.

Our ideal candidate has extensive residential Plumbing & HVAC experience, ideally having worked their way up through the ranks into a management role. We believe this trajectory helps develop a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of the residential Plumbing & HVAC Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day production of the company from interfacing with executive leadership team, finance, management of field operations, supervision of safety & project management & on-site progress, and employee retention
• Oversee successful execution of all Plumbing & HVAC service
• Provide oversight and accountability, Managers are on track and within budget
• Supervise & mentor in the recruiting, interviewing, selecting, orientating, training, coaching and disciplining of the operations team as needed
• Champion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and tools
• Collaborate with Ownership on long & short-term plans for company growth
• Drive safety, quality and profitability to meet or exceed company objectives
• Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company to Ownership
• Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among the sales, service, installation, and operations departments
• Work autonomously while ensuring Ownership expectations are readily met and exceeded.
• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company

Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years, verifiable full- time management experience in residential HVAC
• Working knowledge of residential HVAC methods, techniques & systems; as well as codes
• Professional degree preferably in Construction Management or equivalent desired but not required
• Must embrace being constantly challenged to grow and improve operationally and professionally
• Passion for and prior successful history of building high performing teams
• Strong Leadership skills with ability to build consensus and gain buy-in
• Demonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small or large, impossible, or cannot be improved
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment background check
