Job summary

Sagent Behavioral Health is seeking a School Based Therapist and Mental Health Therapist to join our in-school and outpatient teams in Moorhead, MN. The role splits time between Moorhead High School and Moorhead Alternative Learning Center, with in-person duties at the school sites.

The position offers full-time 1.0 FTE with a pay model that includes licensed and pre-licensed tracks, competitive benefits, and a supportive team dedicated to HOPE values and community service.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Candidates will have clinical licensure or be on licensure track for MN: LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children and adolescents, including internship or practicum.
• Proficient in Office 365 and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses and develop treatment plans with ongoing documentation.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy in outpatient and school settings.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, school staff and medical personnel.
• Maintain caseload to meet weekly billable expectations and ensure high-quality care.

As a School Based Therapist and Mental Health Therapist, at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will work with clients in our school-based program and our outpatient therapy team and provide community-based services to an at need population.

School Based Therapist Responsibilities:

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Sagent staff, and school staff as needed.
• Provide consultation to parents and school staff.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.

Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities:

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy in an outpatient setting.
• Active participation and responsibility in building, growing, and maintaining caseload to meet agreed upon weekly billable expectations.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Candidates will have clinical licensure or be on licensure track for:
  • MN: LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP
• Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes with the ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children and adolescents, which may include internship, practicum, or supervised clinical experience.
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems.

Compensation: We offer pay options to meet your professional and financial goals!

Rate Based Pay Model:

• Licensed: $ 68,000 – 75,000
• Pre-licensed: $ 50,000 – 55,000
