Job summary

UPS in Hendersonville, NC is hiring a dual-role Warehouse Worker / Cover Driver. This position trains you to perform warehouse tasks with opportunities to work as a cover driver, rotating based on business needs and seasonal demand.

You may shift between warehouse and driving duties weekly or seasonally. The base pay is $21.00/hour and the role offers growth toward a permanent delivery driver track with competitive benefits and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid driver’s license (no CDL) and pass DOT physical.
• Able to pass UPS driver test.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and vehicles.
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Report for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver.
• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles as a Cover Driver.
• Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service.
