Job summary

United Mailing Services, Inc. (UMS) in Madison, WI seeks a Driver / Mail Processor to join our team on a mid-shift schedule (11am–7pm).

This full-time, hourly role combines route driving with on-site mail processing, ensuring safe transportation and accurate handling of mail on the production line. You will report to the Route Dept Supervisor / Shift Production Manager and work with a team to maintain production flow, keep vehicles and work areas clean, and adhere to all safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing routes and tasks.
• Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and transport mail on assigned routes safely and professionally.
• Pull, sort, and package mail on the production floor per USPS guidelines.
• Rotate across workstations as needed to maintain production flow and efficiency.
