Responsibilities include maintaining game integrity, tracking winners, and coordinating seating. Candidates must meet minimum age, have an NV Gaming License or be able to register, and possess solid math and communication skills. 21+ and a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

  • Dealing Texas Hold’em, Omaha and 7 Card Stud.
  • Memorize game rules and procedures.
  • Respond quickly to visual and aural cues and maintain accuracy.
  • Perform math calculations for winners and payouts.
  • Excellent English communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains game integrity by knowing game procedures and house rules, applying procedures, informing players of rules, and summoning Floor Managers for decisions.
  • Communicates all pertinent information to Poker Floor Supervisor and Poker Shift Manager.
  • Provides guests with an enjoyable atmosphere by being friendly and courteous, offering assistance and information as needed, and thanking guests for playing.
  • Coordinates poker room seating by greeting guests, collecting phone numbers to notify players of availability, recording information, and notifying Floor Managers of table changes.
  • Maintains card control policy by checking cards, replacing as needed, and contacting surveillance and the casino cage.

Overview

Responsible for all aspects of dealing various Poker games, such as, “Texas Hold’Em”, “Omaha” and “7 Card Stud” in an accurate manner while providing friendly, excellent service to every guest. Determine winners and ensure pots are awarded quickly and accurately. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Responsibilities
  • Maintains game integrity by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of game procedures and house rules, applying procedures accordingly, informing players of rules as needed, and summoning Floor Managers for all game-related decisions.
  • Communicates all pertinent information to Poker Floor Supervisor and the Poker Shift Manager as stipulated in departmental policies and procedures.
  • Providesguests with an enjoyable and entertaining atmosphere by welcoming and treatingguests in a friendly and courteous manner, providingguests with assistance and information as needed, and thankingguests for playing.
  • While working as a brush, coordinates Poker room seating by greeting guests, collecting cell phone numbers to notify players of availability of requested games, recording appropriate information on poker board, and notifying Floor Managers of table changes and seat lock-ups.
  • Maintains the integrity of card control policy by properly suiting cards, checking for defects, matching cards,replacing cards as needed, and contacting surveillance and the casino cage as directed.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Dealing various Poker games, such as, “Texas Hold’Em”, “Omaha” and “7 Card Stud”
  • Must be able to memorize game rules and procedures.
  • Responds to visual and aural cues quickly and accurately.
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
  • Possess NV Gaming License or be able to successfully register with the NV Gaming Board
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
