Job summary

Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Pit Supervisor to oversee dealing operations on the gaming floor. You will exchange cash for chips, deal table games, and provide continuous quality entertainment and service to guests.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED and table games experience, with preferred supervisory experience. Compensation includes a base $6.31/hr plus tips, and $22.50/hr for the Supervisor role, with flexible shifts and weekend work.

Pay Rate: $6.31 an hour plus tips and $22.50 an hour as an Assistant Pit Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Exchange cash for chips
• Deal the games (i.e. blackjack, three card poker, pai gow etc.) efficiently and in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Provide continuous quality entertainment and service to guests
• Protect the integrity of the game and table inventory
• Operate the table games software
• Monitor table activity and guest play ensuring compliance with Title 31 guidelines
• Correct dealer errors and settle player disputes
• Initiate and verify fills and credits for tables
• Issue comps following established guidelines

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required Knowledge and Certification:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 6 months table games experience

Preferred Knowledge and Certification:

• Previous supervisory experience
• Proven knowledge of basic strategy and (+) and (-) count system

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed primarily on the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
• Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
