Job summary

Black-Oak-Casino is seeking a beverage server responsible for maintaining beverage stations and serving guests with efficiency and courtesy. You will take and deliver orders, handle cash and credit transactions, and ensure a high standard of guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.

You must meet age and certification requirements, pass a background check, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds while working shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Must complete California Serve Safe and ARE certification within introductory period or provide proof of current certification.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must communicate proficiently in English.

Responsibilities

• Takes Guest orders, delivers orders and ensures Guest satisfaction.
• Handles currency transactions, receives money, makes change and processes credit card transactions.
• Accounts for all funds assigned in cash bank.
• Provides courteous Guest Service and adheres to Guest Service Standards.
• Works in a fast-paced, high-volume environment performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Abides by all State, Federal and local liquor regulations pertaining to the serving of alcohol beverages to Guests.
• Works cooperatively with multiple departments to monitor and control the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Stocks and cleans work area maintaining proper sanitation controls.
