Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. in Newnan, GA, is seeking an MRI/CT dual licensed Technologist for a full-time, on-site role.

The candidate will operate MRI and CT scanners to produce diagnostic images for diverse patient populations in an outpatient setting. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, registration as RT (MR/CT), CPR certification, and at least one year of diagnostic radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) (MR) (CT).
• CPR certification remains current.
• Minimum of one year in diagnostic radiology.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders and obtain pertinent medical information for exam purpose.
• Screen patients for contraindications prior to entering the magnetic field.
• Explain the procedure to the patient and position for each scan.
• Operate MRI and CT, select parameters, and transfer images to PACS.
• Perform routine maintenance and report issues to Chief Technologist.
• Maintain safety and professionalism per departmental policies.
