Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group seeks a Dual Licensed Therapist (Massage & Esthetics) to deliver massage therapy, body treatments, and skincare services to guests in a boutique spa setting. You will maintain professionalism, assist guests with questions about pre- and post-treatment care, and contribute to spa revenue goals through exceptional service and product recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure as Massage Therapist and Esthetician is required.

This position is responsible for creating personalized treatment plans, promoting wellness, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, and enhancing the overall guest experience while supporting the spa's business objectives.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGuest Care & Treatment ServicesProvide consistent, professional massage therapy, body treatments, and skincare services to male and female guests in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification and licensing practices.Assess each guest's needs and preferences to develop an appropriate treatment plan while remaining within the scope of professional practice. Medical advice is not provided.Deliver treatments safely, professionally, and with attention to guest comfort and satisfaction.Answer guest questions regarding pre-treatment, post-treatment care, products, and services.Guest Experience & Service ExcellenceProvide the highest level of customer service by actively listening to and understanding guests' needs and expectations.Demonstrate professionalism, respect, sensitivity, and discretion while maintaining strict guest confidentiality.Maintain knowledge of all spa services, retail products, promotions, and property amenities to enhance the guest experience.Promote and recommend additional treatments, services, memberships, and retail products to increase guest satisfaction and support spa revenue goals.Scheduling & DocumentationManage treatment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service, proper room preparation, and minimal delays.Accurately document guest consultations, treatment notes, and service records using the spa's computer systems.Maintain organized and accurate client records in accordance with departmental policies.Safety & ComplianceFollow all spa, hotel, OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogen, sanitation, draping, infection control, and safety procedures at all times.Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and report damaged or improperly fitting equipment to management.Maintain compliance with the property's Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) program and become familiar with current Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS).Report unsafe conditions or potential hazards immediately and take appropriate action during emergency situations.Wear slip-resistant footwear and maintain a clean, professional work environment.ProfessionalismMaintain all required state licenses and certifications for massage therapy and esthetics.Participate in ongoing education and training as required by the spa or licensing agency.Support a positive team environment through professionalism, collaboration, and effective communication.Report to work on time and maintain reliable attendance, as consistent attendance is an essential function of the position.QualificationsCurrent state licensure as both a Massage Therapist and Esthetician.Knowledge of massage modalities, body treatments, skincare techniques, and professional spa practices.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.Ability to recommend retail products and additional services appropriately.Basic computer skills for scheduling and client documentation.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with all guests.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work associated with massage and skincare services.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.Ability to perform massage and skincare treatments requiring sustained physical effort.Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed.Ability to work in a fast-paced spa environment while maintaining exceptional service standards.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands to reach hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift/move and up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
