Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks a qualified Dual Immersion English/Target Language teacher to deliver instruction aligned with Georgia Performance Standards. You will foster active learning, implement CI strategies, and collaborate with a partner teacher in a bilingual setting to support student achievement.

The role requires holding a Georgia Teaching Certification in the applicable content field (ESOL/Dual Immersion), and readiness to engage families while maintaining high instructional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited university.
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in applicable content field (e.g. Early Childhood for Elementary) or eligibility to hold one.
• Must have passed the ACTFL OPI and WPT at Advanced level proficiency in Target language other than English.
• ESOL certification/endorsement for Dual Immersion model used as a delivery model for ESOL.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction based on Fulton County curriculum and Georgia Performance Standards.
• Creates a classroom environment that promotes active learning in the subject area.
• Communicates with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Integrates technology into classroom instruction.
• Collaborates with partner teacher in the Dual Immersion model.
