Fulton County Schools is seeking a Para­professional to support teachers and students in classrooms or media centers. You will assist with materials, small-group instruction, attendance, and daily routines, and may participate in Dual Immersion activities as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Georgia GACE para assessment or equivalent coursework, and eligibility to obtain the Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment; or have 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a grade of C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher is acceptable.
• Must be able to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the teacher in preparing educational materials for students.
• Works individually with students and/or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assists with daily routines, including distributing and collecting supplies, attendance, and grading quizzes.
• Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Helps prepare and maintain bulletin boards and learning centers.
• Participates in required training related to the Dual Immersion Model, if applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the administrator.
