Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks an ESOL-Dual Language Immersion Teacher to provide instruction aligned with the Georgia Performance Standards. The teacher will maintain a bilingual classroom environment and collaborate with a partner teacher to deliver Dual Immersion instruction.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, valid Georgia Teaching Certification or eligibility, and advanced proficiency in the non-English target language. ESOL endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited university.
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in applicable content field or eligible to hold one.
• Must have passed ACTFL OPI and WPT at Advanced Level proficiency in the target language other than English.
• ESOL certification/endorsement for a Dual Immersion model used as a delivery model for ESOL.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction based on Fulton County's curriculum.
• Maintains a classroom environment promoting active learning in subject area.
• Collaborates with partner teacher in Dual Immersion model.
• Communicates with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
