Job summary

Dimension Hospitality is seeking a Dual Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations for Homewood Suites by Hilton Carle Place and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Carle Place. You will partner with hotel leadership to drive profitability, maintain internal controls, and provide strategic financial guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Hotel accounting or hospitality finance experience required.
• Previous controller or senior accounting leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.
• Experience with payroll, cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial functions for both hotel properties
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll review, cash management, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards
• Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to improve revenue and profitability
• Partner with General Managers on budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
• Review daily revenue reporting and ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity
• Analyze labor costs, operating expenses, and financial trends for decision-making
• Train and mentor accounting team members; assist with capital planning and special projects
• Serve as the primary financial resource for hotel leadership and corporate partners

The Role

As our Dual Controller, you will oversee all accounting and financial operations for both the Homewood Suites by Hilton Carle Place and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Carle Place. Reporting directly to hotel leadership, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.

You’ll serve as a key member of the leadership team, partnering Operations, Sales, Revenue Management, and Corporate Accounting to maximize profitability and maintain compliance with company standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee all accounting and financial functions for both hotel properties
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes
