Job summary

E.ON Next is seeking Dual Fuel SMART Meter Installers to cover Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. You will visit customers, provide tailored energy advice, and install SMART PAYG meters, helping customers manage energy usage. Expect field travel, problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

You’ll visit customers in their homes, supporting those who may be struggling with their energy bills by providing tailored advice and, where appropriate, installing SMART Pay As You Go (PAYG) meters to help them take control of their energy use. You’ll also investigate reports of meter tampering, ensuring installations are safe and secure.

This role offers the flexibility to support your work-life balance, as long as you meet your weekly working hours.

Are we a match? We’re looking for someone with:

• MOCOPA/CMA1/MET2 qualifications.
• A home base in or within easy travelling distance of the Northamptonshire area.
• A full UK or EU driving licence (up to 6 points accepted).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The confidence to work independently in the field.
• A willingness to undertake 3-phase electricity training, including travel and overnight stays where required.
• Access to broadband at home.
