Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University is seeking a Dual Enrollment Program & Outreach Coordinator to design and expand dual enrollment partnerships with local high schools, community organizations, and other educational stakeholders.

The role focuses on increasing student access, coordinating course offerings, supporting outreach events, and ensuring program compliance with institutional and state requirements.

Qualifications

  • Requires six years of directly related full-time experience or a Bachelor's degree plus two years of related experience.
  • Master's degree and experience with dual enrollment, early college, or K-12 partnerships are preferred.
  • Experience with higher education systems and policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and coordinate dual enrollment programs aligned with the DKSOE mission and standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop policies and procedures compliant with institutional, state, and accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinate course offerings, schedules, instructor assignments, and program operations with departments and partners.
  • Serve as liaison for external partners to support communication and program delivery.
  • Provide guidance to prospective and enrolled students and respond to inquiries on admissions and onboarding.

Dual Enrollment Program & Outreach Coordinator

The Dual Enrollment Program & Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing, administering, and expanding dual enrollment partnerships between the School of Entrepreneurship (DKSOE), local high schools, community organizations, and other educational stakeholders. This role focuses on increasing student access and strengthening community relationships to support and advance the vision and objectives of DKSOE and the university.

Job Description
Typical duties may include but are not limited to
  • Responsible for designing, developing and coordinating the dualenrollment programs aligned with DKSOE's mission and academicstandards.
  • Develops and administers program policies and procedures incollaboration with leadership, ensuring compliance withinstitutional, state, and accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinates course offerings, schedules, instructorassignments, and program operations with academic departments andhigh school, district, and community partners.
  • Serves as a primary liaison for external partners to supportcommunication, program delivery, and relationship management.
  • Provides guidance to prospective and enrolled dual enrollmentstudents and responds to inquiries from students and parentsregarding admissions, onboarding, and program participation, incollaboration with advising and student services.
  • Researches and compiles data to evaluate program effectiveness,including recruitment efforts, enrollment trends and studentsuccess outcomes. Has the authority to formulate, interpret, andimplement program policies.
  • Works cross-functionally with faculty, admissions, registrarand leadership to support program operations and outreachinitiatives.
  • Partners with marketing teams to develop promotional materialsand campaigns.
  • Organizes outreach events, information sessions, andrecruitment initiatives, including identifying and pursuing newpartnership opportunities to expand program reach.
  • Maintains accurate records, reports and documentation relatedto dual enrollment programs, preparing data-informed reports forleadership.
  • Monitors and maintains program expenses, budgets, andfinances.
  • Coaches and mentors program staff, and provides training andsupport to partner institutions as needed
  • Represents DKSOE at community events, college fairs and partnersites.

Required Qualifications
  • This position requires either six years of directly relatedfull-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited institution in Education, Business, PublicAdministration, or a closely related field and two years offull-time experience directly related to the job functions.
  • Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience,and/or certifications may be considered.
