Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University seeks a Dual Enrollment Program & Outreach Coordinator to develop and expand dual enrollment partnerships with high schools, local organizations, and other stakeholders.

The role focuses on increasing student access and strengthening community relations to support DKSOE and the university's vision. You will design programs, coordinate offerings, manage budgets, and represent DKSOE at events.

Qualifications

  • Six years of directly related full-time experience OR a Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Public Administration, or a related field plus two years of related full-time experience.
  • Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and coordinate dual enrollment programs aligned with DKSOE's mission and standards.
  • Develop and administer program policies, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinate course offerings, schedules, instructor assignments, and operations with departments and partners.
  • Serve as primary liaison for external partners to support communication and relationship management.
  • Guide prospective and enrolled students and respond to inquiries about admissions, onboarding, and participation.
  • Research and evaluate program effectiveness, including recruitment trends and student outcomes.
  • Work cross-functionally with faculty, admissions, registrar, and leadership to support operations and outreach.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Organize outreach events and identify new partnerships to expand program reach.
  • Maintain records, reports, and data-informed leadership reports; monitor program budgets and finances.
  • Coach and train program staff and partner institutions as needed.
  • Represent DKSOE at community events, college fairs, and partner sites.

Job Summary

The Dual Enrollment Program & Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing, administering, and expanding dual enrollment partnerships between the School of Entrepreneurship (DKSOE), local high schools, community organizations, and other educational stakeholders. This role focuses on increasing student access and strengthening community relationships to support and advance the vision and objectives of DKSOE and the university.

Job Description
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for designing, developing and coordinating the dual enrollment programs aligned with DKSOE’s mission and academic standards.
  • Develops and administers program policies and procedures in collaboration with leadership, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinates course offerings, schedules, instructor assignments, and program operations with academic departments and high school, district, and community partners.
  • Serves as a primary liaison for external partners to support communication, program delivery, and relationship management.
  • Provides guidance to prospective and enrolled dual enrollment students and responds to inquiries from students and parents regarding admissions, onboarding, and program participation, in collaboration with advising and student services.
  • Researches and compiles data to evaluate program effectiveness, including recruitment efforts, enrollment trends and student success outcomes. Has the authority to formulate, interpret, and implement program policies.
  • Works cross-functionally with faculty, admissions, registrar and leadership to support program operations and outreach initiatives.
  • Partners with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Organizes outreach events, information sessions, and recruitment initiatives, including identifying and pursuing new partnership opportunities to expand program reach.
  • Maintains accurate records, reports and documentation related to dual enrollment programs, preparing data-informed reports for leadership.
  • Monitors and maintains program expenses, budgets, and finances.
  • Coaches and mentors program staff, and provides training and support to partner institutions as needed
  • Represents DKSOE at community events, college fairs and partner sites.

Required Qualifications:
  • This position requires either six years of directly related full-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Education, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field and two years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.
  • Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
