College of the Mainland is seeking an adjunct Pharmacy Technician instructor to teach dual credit courses for high school students earning college credit. You will prepare, develop, and revise course content, meet classes as scheduled, and handle grading, attendance, and records in the college systems.

Ideal candidates will have an associates degree or higher in pharmacy or a health-related field, plus PTCB or licensure, and at least 3 years of pharmacy experience; prior teaching experience is a

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher in pharmacy or health-related field is required or preferred.
  • PTCB Certification or Pharmacist License is required or preferred.
  • TSBP Registration as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist is required or preferred.
  • Three (3) years of pharmacy work experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Teach dual credit Pharmacy Technician courses aligned with curriculum and THECB requirements.
  • Deliver instruction using lectures, labs, simulations, and hands-on activities for high school students earning college credit.
  • Integrate pharmacy law, ethics, safety, dosage calculations, and operations into instruction.
  • Embed workforce readiness skills and professional behaviors aligned with pharmacy practice standards.
  • Evaluate student performance with exams, labs, and practical demonstrations, and provide feedback.
  • Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance in LMS and SIS.
