Job summary

Texas Southmost College is seeking adjunct faculty who are professional educators working on a limited basis to fulfill the college’s mission and goals. Adjunct faculty serve as leaders, teachers, advisors, and facilitators of learning and report to the College President through the established chain of command.

Responsibilities include curriculum development with college policies, maintaining attendance and grades, using digital learning tools, and collaborating to improve learning outcomes.

• Develop accurate syllabi incorporating department, college and instructor requirements.
• Maintain attendance records, submit grades, and provide feedback each semester.
• Deliver instruction with rigor and quality, designing appropriate learning activities.
• Use digital learning solutions and technology to meet course objectives.
• Assess student learning and align assessments with outcomes.
• Participate in discipline-specific activities and professional development.
