Job summary

The French Pantry & Little Miss Ha in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a Service Manager to lead two dining concepts during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will keep the French-Mediterranean and Vietnamese identities distinct on the floor while driving guest satisfaction.

The role reports to OPS leadership, hires and trains servers, mentors a Floor Manager, and partners with the Executive Chef to synchronize kitchen and service. Availability nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in restaurant management, ideally as a Service Manager or senior floor leader.
• Experience in high-volume upscale casual or fine dining.
• Calm, decisive, hands-on leadership on the floor.
• Strong command of labor, scheduling, and P&L basics.
• Food handler and responsible alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor during breakfast, lunch, and dinner across two concepts.
• Maintain each concept’s identity on the floor from dinner pacing to warm Vietnamese service.
• Be a visible, hands-on presence during peak volume and solve issues before guests notice.
• Step in as the senior on-site leader whenever the General Manager is off.
• Hire, train, and coach servers, hosts, and support staff.
• Mentor the Floor Manager and build a bench of future leaders.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef so kitchen and floor move as one team.
• Own FOH scheduling, labor management, and daily operational checklists.
• Track sales and labor, and act on what the numbers show.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS management.
• Maintain health, safety, and alcohol-service compliance across spaces.
• Bring ideas to ownership and the Director of Operations, then roll them out.
