Pinnacle Living's Hermitage Deep Run community seeks a Part-Time Medication Aide and CNA. Shifts include 3pm-11pm evenings and 7am-3pm days, with two-week rotations and every other weekend required.

The role emphasizes medication administration, resident care, and adherence to privacy and safety policies. Applicants must be Virginia-licensed CNAs and RMAs, CPR/AED certified, and have completed a medication training program with insulin module.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved certified Nursing Assistant Program.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant in Virginia and Registered Medication Aide.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Graduate of a medication training program, including insulin module.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand resident rights and confidentiality in medication decisions.
• Recognize emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Identify medication terminology and abbreviations.
• Follow standard precautions.
• Maintain and secure medications; dispose per guidelines.
• Review Doctor's orders and medication administration records.
• Document care in medical records.
• Attend in-service training and Relias Learning.
