Job summary

Harmony Hospitality, Inc. seeks a vigilant Security Guard to safeguard guests, staff, and assets. You will respond to security incidents, patrol the premises, and enforce hotel policies to maintain a safe environment.

Required CPR/first aid certification, strong communication, and radio use are essential. A high school diploma is required, and two years in a related field is preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Strong communication skills and clear reporting.
• Ability to recognize drug and alcohol impairment.
• Experience communicating via portable radio.
• Second language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of hotel key system; issue and receive keys.
• Escort and witness cash handling as needed.
• Patrol all areas of the hotel property including outside parking lots; report any unusual activities and escort off property when necessary.
• Document daily security reports including theft, accidents and safety violations.
• Complete security forms to document losses or personal injuries.
• Know and apply disaster and emergency policies; respond to alarms and perform first aid and CPR as needed.
• Conduct investigations of security incidents.
• Enforce the No Solicitation Policy of the hotel.

• Search for, respond to and handle any security problems, issues, concerns and disaster emergency situations in accordance with all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure the safety & security of the hotel's assets, guests, and employees.

The Security Guard is responsible for:

• Search for, respond to and handle any security problems, issues, concerns and disaster emergency situations in accordance with all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure the safety & security of the hotel's assets, guests, and employees.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain security of hotel key system; issue and receive keys.
• Escort and witness cash handling as needed.
• Patrol all areas of the hotel property including outside parking lots. Note, search for, handle and report any unusual circumstances, safety violations, car theft, destruction and/or suspicious or undesirable persons and escort off property, if necessary.
• Document a concise security report on a daily log including incidents of theft, accidents and safety violations.
• Complete the necessary security forms to document losses of property or personal injury to guest or employee.
• Maintain familiarity of all hotel disaster and emergency policies, procedures and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities and perform first aid and CPR as needed.
• Conduct investigations of security incidents.
• Enforce the `No Solicitation Policy' of the hotel.
