Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read and write.
• Basic arithmetic skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control conditions of finish application, filament and splitting, winder tension / build of package, quality, housekeeping, entanglement of yarn bundle.
• Follow the directions of spec sheets and job requirements in establishing operating needs.
• Follow operating instructions of process equipment.
• Monitor finish to yarn product specification.
• Monitor running filament bundles and report any off standard conditions and advise Crew Leader of any abnormal or off-standard conditions immediately.
• Perform take-up system adjustments and packaging labeling per standard lengths and procedures.
• Maintain production records neatly and accurately.
• Take all waste to proper disposition and bale.
• Provide assistance in all areas of the Draw Texturing Department; assist with PMs and repairs as scheduled.
• Follow area/plant safety rules; train other employees as required.
