Job summary

Engineered Floors in Dalton, GA is seeking a reliable technician to support the Draw Texturing Department. You will monitor finish application, filament handling, and winding operations, ensuring packages meet quality specs.

Responsibilities include adhering to process instructions, providing timely reports of any abnormal conditions, and maintaining accurate production records. Candidate should have basic math, reading/writing skills, and forklift operation ability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Computer knowledge or data entry skills are a necessary part of the job.
• Must be able to operate a lift truck.
• Extrusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control finish application, filament and packaging processes.
• Follow spec sheets and job requirements for operating needs.
• Adhere to process equipment operating instructions.
• Ensure finish meets yarn product specifications.
• Report off-standard conditions to Crew Leader immediately.
• Label and identify each finished package.
• Maintain production records and housekeeping.
• Dispose of waste properly and bale waste materials.
• Assist in all areas of Draw Texturing Department; PMs and repairs as scheduled.
• Follow safety rules and train others as required.
