Adams- in Downtown Los Angeles seeks an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal to support active PI matters. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of plaintiff-side experience and is proficient in drafting litigation documents, handling discovery, calendaring deadlines, and assisting with trial preparation.

CA state and federal court procedures and e-filing are required. The firm offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to work alongside seasoned litigation professionals

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of Plaintiff Personal Injury experience.
• Familiar with CA court rules and civil procedures for state and federal court.
• E-filing in state and federal court
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Paralegal certification a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Draft a variety of motions and oppositions, mediation briefs, propound/respond to discovery, request for entry of default/default prove-up, minor's compromise, and prepare correspondence at the attorney’s request.
• Client contact including phone calls and office visits.
• Calendar all hearings, motions, discovery, and trial deadlines
• Assist in all trial preparations, including retain experts, schedule expert depositions, assemble trial notebooks, exhibits, witness lists, jury instructions, prepare and serve trial subpoenas.

A plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paral egal to join its Downtown Los Angeles office. The ideal Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegalcandidate will have at least 3 years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience and be proficient in drafting litigation documents, handling discovery, calendaring deadlines, and assisting with trial preparation. Experience with California state and federal court procedures and e-filing is required. This is an excellent opportunity to support a nationally recognized personal injury practice known for its high-profile cases and commitment to client advocacy. • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• High degree of professionalism.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and meet deadlines.
• Paralegal or Notary certification a plus.
