Pattern, a fast-growing ecommerce acceleration company, seeks a Manager, DTC Business in Lehi, UT to own the shipping program end-to-end, negotiating with carriers and ensuring two-day delivery, while partnering with Product to ship improvements.

You will lead rate negotiations, manage carrier relationships, and drive cost efficiencies, balancing speed and cost while owning the P&L. This is a hands-on leadership role with broad impact across the supply chain and customer experience.

Qualifikationen

• 4–8 years of experience in parcel logistics, carrier management, transportation, e‑commerce fulfillment, or supply chain.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and regional or last‑mile carriers, including zones, surcharges, dimensional weight, accessorials, and how contracts are structured.
• Experience negotiating or directly supporting carrier agreements, with the ability to build a data‑backed case.
• Comfort with how shipping systems work (label APIs, rate shopping, carrier integrations, and order flow) and the ability to talk to engineers and product managers in their language and help prioritize what to build.
• Strong SQL and Excel or Google Sheets skills; you build your own analyses and are comfortable owning a P&L.

Aufgaben

• Oversee carrier management, negotiations, and rate renewals.
• Drive growth in the share of orders delivered in two days or less as new buildings come online.
• Set and track delivery promise accuracy, on‑time performance, transit time by lane, and cost per shipment.
• Optimize between speed and cost so the business can choose the right service level for each situation.
• Understand and impact the business rules for how and when we purchase labels, and which service is selected.
• Work with Product to design, test, and ship improvements to rate shopping, service selection, and label timing.
• Partner with warehouse operations to keep timelines aligned.
