Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Manager for DTC Securities Settlements within Global Wholesale Operations in Dallas, TX. This leadership role oversees the end-to-end settlement of U.S.

Domestic Equities and Fixed Income, working with Operations, Risk, Finance, Treasury, Technology, and Front Office to ensure timely, accurate settlements and a strong control framework. The position emphasizes team leadership, regulatory compliance, process improvements, and collaboration to support client needs and

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in securities settlement operations across DTC eligible securities, equities and fixed income.
• Proven leadership experience in regulated environments with strong risk controls.
• Ability to partner with Front Office, Treasury, Risk, Technology to deliver change.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of daily U.S. Domestic Equities and Fixed Income DTC settlement activity, including Buy-ins and ACATs.
• Ensure accurate and timely settlement across a complex product set (equities, bonds, ADRs/ORDs, etc.).
• Lead and develop a high-performing settlement operations team.
• Maintain and improve the control environment and escalations during audits and regulatory reviews.
