Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion/related field or equivalent experience.
• Planning or analytics experience in footwear, apparel, or fashion retail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and merchandising systems (PLM, ERP).
• Deep understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and retail math.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and historical sales data to forecast demand.
• Collaborate with buying, allocation, and inventory teams to manage inventory levels and open-to-buy budgets.
• Manage key style plans to ensure appropriate inventory levels and align with buyers on future demand.
• Monitor unshipped inventory and identify any unneeded demand that can be potentially shared with other distribution channels.
• Analyze product performance against expectations and communicate findings at weekly business review meetings.
• Manage accessories pricing and promotions that align with inventory, margin, and discount targets.
• Track product performance and make pricing and distribution recommendations that align with each style’s intended lifecycle.
• Partner with merchandising and allocation on new store assortments that align with each location’s selling and backroom capacity.
