Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to manage the Prime Program within the Digital Technology Office. You will align strategic and functional units under a unified governance model, partnering with DT leaders, functional partners, and RTX Enterprise Services to drive multi-disciplinary outcomes.

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time.
  • 3+ years’ experience with project management oversight of infrastructure and software development initiatives.
  • 3+ years’ experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.

The Digital Technology Program Management Office

is currently searching for a seasoned Program Manager to manage our Prime Program. Prime is the Collins program to align all strategic and functional business units under one overall governance model. This individual will partner with Collins DT Leaders, Collins functional partners and RTX Enterprise Services.

What You Will Do

  • You will lead teams to develop effective stakeholder communications.

  • Have experience partnering with a variety of customers, stakeholders, and teams to develop and deliver complex systems and services.
  • Have experience implementing management systems with applicability to a portfolio of projects including program financials, risk and opportunity management, schedule and scope management, and other project management fundamentals.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Experience interfacing with internal customers.
  • Experience with using change management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Understanding of key digital transformation topics and technologies.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
