Job summary

RTX’s Collins Digital Technology unit seeks a PWE Manager to lead a team of system administrators supporting program execution. You will set a clear vision, align with Collins values, and collaborate with Digital, engineering, and cybersecurity partners across RTX functions.

You will coordinate workforce planning, oversee onboarding, and ensure timely reporting to senior leadership while maintaining hands-on support in critical situations. On-site in Richardson, TX with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance or higher is required.
• Knowledge of DFARS, CMMC, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG controls.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure or computing technologies.
• Experience leading the delivery of technical capability within a program environment.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating environments.
• Experience with workforce planning and resource management.
• Demonstrated cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to partner with program stakeholders and external DoD customers.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting tasks and initiatives.
• Experience managing teams in an Agile environment.
• Applicants with non-STEM degrees may be considered if they have relevant technical and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a high-performing team of system administrators to enable program execution.
• Set vision and direction aligned with RTX Collins values and behaviors.
• Partner across Digital groups to drive technology insertion and sustainment.
• Assign and monitor projects, manage performance.
• Create and submit status reports to senior leadership.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and workforce planning.
• Support IT systems with hands-on administration as needed.
• Travel locally to RTX sites as required.
