Arizona Department of Transportation is seeking a DT Equipment Repair Technician Advanced to assist the shop supervisor in day-to-day operations at the Prescott Valley Equipment Shop.
The position performs Preventative Maintenance and repairs, schedules vehicles for service, and oversees maintenance while ensuring accurate records and safety compliance. A CDL and EPA 609 certification are required within six months.

This position is responsible for assisting the shop supervisor in day to day operations of the Equipment Services (EQS) Equipment Shop. The working Lead Technician performs Preventative Maintenance (PM's) and repairs, schedules vehicles for service and repair, and oversees preventative maintenance and repairs.
Assigns work activities to repair technicians. Directs shop activities during supervisor's absence.
Assigns priorities to vehicles undergoing repair within the shop.
Reviews repair documentation for accuracy and completeness. Updates/maintains equipment service/repair records and prepares detailed inspection reports.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
5 years journey level experience and equipment shop leading experience.
Class B CDL within six months of employment.
EPA 609 Certification within 6 months of employment.
