Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience: Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
- Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
- Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment: including clearing trash, returning shoes to their location, cleaning the store, vacuuming, and organizing stockroom.
- Handle merchandise: receive inbound freight, prepare, and place merchandise on the sales floor, complete markdowns, and maintain stockroom organization.
- Leverage in-store and digital services: complete fulfillment functions, locate items, inspect products, and ensure readiness for pickup/delivery.
- Customer service excellence: process transactions accurately, follow policies, and partner with leadership on escalated issues.
- Bring energy and teamwork: participate in meetings, accept feedback, and support inclusivity.

- Proficiency with store technology (Register, iPhone, Calculator).
- Ability to stand or walk up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly.
Experience:
- No retail experience required.
