Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers and team members, including cleaning and organizing the store and stockroom.
• Receive inbound freight, prepare, and display merchandise according to DSW standards, and organize stockroom inventory.
• Complete fulfillment functions such as locating items, inspecting product condition, packaging, and labeling for pickup/delivery.
• Operate the register accurately, handle cash, and partner with leadership for escalated customer issues.
• Participate actively in team meetings and training, support inclusivity, and be receptive to feedback.

Required Skills

• Availability to meet the business needs.
• Professional, friendly, and customer service oriented.
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient with technology (register, iPhone, calculator).
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 100% of shift and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
