Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:

• Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.

Be committed to providing a consistent positive experience:

• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers and staff, including clearing trash, cleaning the store, and organizing stock.
• Receive inbound freight, prepare, and display merchandise per DSW standards, and maintain the stockroom.

Leverage in-store and digital services to enhance the customer experience:

• Complete fulfillment functions, including locating items, inspecting, packaging, and labeling products.
• Use company tools to check product availability and assist customers.

Prioritize customer needs and transactions:

• Process transactions accurately, operate the register, and partner with leadership for escalated issues.

Bring energy and teamwork:

• Participate in team meetings, be open to feedback, and support an inclusive environment.

Required Skills:

• Availability to meet business needs.

• Proficiency with store technology (registers, devices).
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks regularly.
