Job Summary

The Store Associate provides friendly service to customers shopping in-store and through omni-channel services. They assess customer needs and assist by executing the company's customer service model, always prioritizing the customer. Responsibilities include salesfloor and warehouse tasks such as assisting customers, merchandise placement, completing transactions, processing shipments, and store upkeep. Store Associates are brand ambassadors responsible for the complete customer experience from online to in-store, adhering to all policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Personalized Customer Service: Greet customers, read cues, and match needs with service. Promote and enroll in the DSW Loyalty program.
2. Maintain Store Environment: Keep the store clean, safe, and organized. Handle shipments, markdowns, and stockroom organization.
3. Leverage In-store and Digital Services: Fulfill orders, locate items, inspect products, and prepare for pickup/delivery using company tools.
4. Customer Transactions: Process sales accurately, handle cash and operate registers. Escalate issues to the CEL as needed.
5. Team Participation: Engage in team meetings, training, and support an inclusive team environment.
