Base pay range

$16.25/hr - $17.25/hr

General Summary

The Store Associate provides friendly service to customers shopping in-store and through omni-channel services. They assess customer needs and assist by executing the company's customer service model, always prioritizing the customer. Store Associates perform salesfloor and warehouse functions, including assisting customers, merchandise placement, completing transactions, processing shipments, and maintaining the store environment. They must demonstrate behaviors aligned with company values and are responsible for the end-to-end customer experience, both online and in-store. Store Associates must comply with all policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, read cues, and tailor service accordingly.
• Promote and enroll customers in the DSW Loyalty program.
• Answer product questions and complete transactions both in-store and online.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment, including tidying aisles, registers, and stockrooms.
• Receive shipments, restock merchandise, and organize stockrooms.
• Fulfill customer orders, locate items, inspect, package, and label products.
• Accurately handle cash transactions and operate the register.
• Partner with the CEL on escalated customer issues.
• Participate in team meetings and training, support inclusivity, and be receptive to feedback.

Experience
